Lake Shore Drive bridge to close overnight in preparation for Chicago`s spring boating season

The Lake Shore Drive bridge over the Chicago River will be closed Thursday night into Friday morning as Chicago transportation officials test bridge function to prepare for regular bridge lifts as part of spring boating season, officials said.
